These sturdy pepper and salt mills, which are made in Greece, are based on the design of a coffeemill created hundreds of years ago for soldiers in the field. There are many colors and styles to choose from including COPPER, BRASS, CHROME and STAINLESS STEEL. All very attractive with tower topped, rounded, cupola and a matching metal handle for grinding; bands of embossed grape clusters and leaves encircle the body of the mill, adding to its exotic allure. They are easily filled by unscrewing the handle and removing the cap; all models hold an ample amount of whole peppercorns or salt. The grind is adjusted by loosening or tightening a screw on the bottom; within, a heavy steel mechanism with hand-cut burrs (which are patented) efficiently pulverizes the pepper or salt.
